This was an old wooden rolling cart that we used to use as an island at the Rosemount house. This cart was sitting on the patio, somewhat blocking the view of the corner plumbing for at least 5 years. The top was a mess, it’s wood for heavens sake. Originally I was going to mosaic the sides as well. However, I went with the 1/2 inch concrete backer board, which is HEAVY! The poor cart would never hold all that. So, just the top. The lovely blue plastic from Tap Plastics in El Cerrito should work well for the the sides. Just need some big white and/or silver stickers for the decoration of the front. The fancy blue tiles were from a trip to Mexico, probably Sayulita, with the Wints. The mirror pieces discolored rapidly as mirrors do.
